Odyssey teamed up with Roles 4 Women to present the first annual International Women’s Day Performance Series. Thank you to all the audiences who came out to support and experience new work by five of Odyssey’s resident creators – Humming Pera/Tina Pearson, Liz Solo, Fau Ferdinand/Yael Gilks, Bibbe Oh/Bibbe Hansen and Nebulosus Severine. We also installed a screening of videos by the women of Second Front, currently featured on Odyssey Island in the lecture area. SLURL – The Women of Second Front on Odyssey

The IWD program started with a guided tour of Nebulosus Severine‘s “Metaphysical Revisceralization”. The presentation was streamed live to Roles 4 Women’s Twitch Channel. Footage from the stream was used to make this machinima documentation:

Liz Solo presented her performance piece “The Asteroid”, machinima by Liz Solo and Fau Ferdinand/Yael Gilks:

Fau Ferdinand/Yael Gilks premiered her new collaborative action painting “Wet Snow” with collaborators Liz Solo, Bibbe Hansen and Phreek Fargis.
