We have launched a new world in VRC!
Starring You in the Role of the Fourth Rider is a unique world, built by TWKTemplar of BEEVR, that interprets L. X. Beckett‘s poem “Starring You in the Role of the Fourth Rider” as an immersive experience. This VR world brings the images and themes of the poem to life. Visitors encounter audio of the poem, read by the author, as they journey through an intimate, apocalypse-themed story to the centre of a black hole. Find it by searching “black hole experience” or “Starring You…” in the Worlds Menu.
This innovative build is a part of the BBMC’s VR Forward project, and is a collaboration between the BBMC, BEEVR, L. X. Beckett, and Toronto publisher House of Zolo. Special thanks to Artist Ch35h1R3 and Project Manager SpiderWeeb.
The “Starring You in the Role of the Fourth Rider” world has only been online only for a short time, but has already gathered almost 2,500 visitors.
